Interesting how Pope Benedict XVI has already been referred to as a transitional papal leader. Geesh, almost seems like the bookmakers should take odds on how long this one will last. Don't like that. Don't like it at all.
We've talked at length about this one. I'm not ready either. Just think that he should get a little more respect than just being seen as a 'filler'. Also, as the old saying goes...Every dog has his day....Shouldn't every pope?! Eh, you know how I feel, Care.

Strange to find myself at the opposite end of this issue from you. I am actually comforted by this "transitional" Pope. I am not ready to say goodbye to the way I've known for 27 years. I am not ready at all.
