Vacation actually means NO WORK
Four days in and it feels strange to be away from the building in a relaxed mode. I feel like I'm without a job. Not complaining though. It's nice to just.....be.
Going to Foley today to the outdoor outlet mall. Thrilling, yes? For those of you who know me, you know that I don't like malls. I go to them under diress. Em is in the stage of adolescence that the mall is Mecca and retailers like PacSun, Boundaries, FYE, are gods; so the child is excited about Foley today.
Beth and Michael made it safely. She seems to be enjoying herself although it hasn't been the most thrilling of vacations, but for someone who spends her time always going whilst on vacation...the slower pace is nice.
My mother is in the Philippines for my lola's (grandmother) birthday. With the deaths this year of Pop, Lolo (although he was my great-uncle, he was the only grandfather from my mother's side to me), and Emily, Mom is afraid of not being able to see her mother before something happens. I can understand that. I wish I could back to the Islands to meet her one day but I have a feeling that I may not get the opportunity. Damn things for being so expensive.
Well, need to dress. Have a good Tuesday!
