I had lots of fun last night. Michael was with Mom and Sam. First I went to eat with the guys. Then we met up with some other friends and went bowling. Bowling is one of those things where you go because it's fun, not because it's something you're good at. At least that's my philosophy.
I actually got a couple of spares and a strike! That was awesome. Of course I still sucked, but that's okay, because it was fun!
After bowling, the guys went to see "Nacho Libre". My friends and I went to see "The Omen". It had some parts where I thought that I was going to lmao! At one point, this photographer who has already foreseen his death, gets killed. This metalwork falls down and slices his head off right at his neck. Then, his decapitated body does like this half-flip thing down the stairs. Yeah, S and I laughed.
There were a few parts where we were just laughing. During the movie, the mother realizes that something is just "not quite right" with her "son". I mean, what was her first clue? Isn't it normal for children to have a huge coniption fit at the sight of a chuurch? I mean, the last time you took your child to the zoo didn't the animals try to break out of their cages to attack them? I assumed these were normal childhood things.
At the end, Damien is at his "father's" funeral. It was one of those scenes where you just knew what was going to happen. I was like: "he's gonna turn around.." Then, of course, it happens. Damien turns around and has this evil look on his face. S and I laughed. I realized something later. How does the casting call go out for a character like "Damien"? Does it read something like this: "In search of young male actors between the ages of 5-7 to play the part of the AntiChrist. Must be able to look evil and sullen. Dark hair a must. Very few lines to memorize. Must be able to scream, scratch out female lead's eyes, and able to command people to die at his command." I think most agents would find this to be a plumb role for their young employers. Seriuosly, it was a pretty good movie.
After the movie, it was time to go home. Since I was childless, I had the chance to relax in a hot bath with lots of foaming bath salt. The only problem this caused is that it woke me up. So, I decided to watch the 4 episodes of "Charmed" that I had recorded earler in the day. See, wasn't that a good ending? Go see "The Omen", come home and watch a show about good witches. I only ended up watching 2 1/2 episodes. I actually starting falling asleep. This was around 3 a.m., or so.
Mom called at about 10. So, I went over there for breakfast and to retrieve my child. I think that we are going to go grocery shopping and shoe shopping today. We both need new tennis shoes. Then, I think that we might go swimming. Not sure. I think I'll call and see what S is up to today.
By the way, Nae called last night just as we were finishing bowling. We won't discuss that conversation on myspace. Some things aren't meant to be repeated for everyone to know. Anyways, it could be embarrassing and could make for some situations to become awkward. That's all I've got to say about that. I love you, Nae!
Well, I'd better get myself in gear. I have a ton of stuff to get done today. I hope everyone else is having a great weekend, so far. Mine had a great start. Hopefully it has a great ending.
Later....
-the crazy, brainwashing, Scientology freak, who doesn't believe in medicine-but I like his movies.
Phaedra had texted everybody earlier in the day and asked if any of us wanted to go see it. I gave in. So...me, Michael, Chris, Phaedra, Derek, John, and Brett, all went to see it. Of course it was great! They went to Baskin Robbins after, but Michael and I went home. I had to work the next morning. Which brings us to Saturday. I worked from 6-noon.
Then I picked up Michael and we went grocery shopping. After putting away groceries, we went to dad's for dinner. I started falling asleep at dad's
, so we went home. It was a long drive. My dad lives around the corner from me.
After that, not much happened, I was too tired to do anything else. Now, today. Went to church, went out to eat for Tim's birthday, went to the mall-bought a pair of sunglasses and showed Michael which faceplate I want for my phone for Mother's Day, went to mom's, took Tim to Hasting's, and now here I sit. Speaking of Tim, his boss just called and asked him to come in to work. For some retarded reason that he doesn't even know, he said "yes". So, I am going to take him to work at 6. I haven't decided whether or not I'm to church tonight. I have so much t do at home. I've got dishes and laundry. I'll probably end up going to church. I really need to.
