Well, I am getting ready to go to the bank.  We REALLY want a house.  My cousin is selling hers.  i used to live there, so I know pretty much everything about it.  I have also been eyeing a house that is over closer to me.  Here is what I am wanting:  at least 3 bedrooms, 1.5-2 bathrooms, and a yard so that I can get a dog (i want something normal sized, A wants a Bull Mastiff.  I will probably give in.), and it needs to be in the same school district we are in now.  I asked Michael if he would want to change schools & he said "no". 

My grandma went to the hospital this morning.  She was having chest pains yesterday.  She already has stints.  She was supposed to be seeing her doctor today.  Mom called me about 3:30 am to let me know that they had gone ahead and taken her to the hospital.  Thank God A called me this morning.  I had slept straight through my alarm.   Then, of course, it took forever to get Michael moving. 

Ok.  I have got to go.  Lots of drama this morning.  Gotta go.  Tell you about it later.  Take Care.

Bloggin' on a Tuesday Evening

Today was another great day at work.  Seriously.  I really like my job. 

I had a great chat with Nae today.  I think that I may take her advice.  It's actually good advice.  I mean, she's my bestest friend in the whole universe!!  She knows me better than almost anyone!  Would she ever steer me wrong?  I think not! 

I made a comment in my last blog that some may need me to explain.  I said that I wished that my timing and God's timing were in sync.  Here we go...if you don't believe that God can send you visions or that you can actually can speak to God, then you won't belive this.  But, that's okay, because I know that He can do miracles.  I have seen them with my own eyes.  Anyways.  One night, at church, I was feeling especially depressed and sad about being single.  I was praying and I asked God if He was ever going to send someone for me.  I was about floored when I got the answer.  I was told that He would be married, but it would be in "His time".  So, it was kind of one of those things where you go, uh...thanks..  Have you ever waited for an answer for something that you have prayed really hard about?  I mean sometimes it feels like you are goingto have to wait forver!  Other times it's like "man, that was fast!"  So, when He tells you that something will happen in His time, be prepared to possibly have to wait.  So, that's what I meant about His time and my time.  Hopefully His time is within the next 7 years.  I want to have another child.  Of course this time I will do it the easier way.  Marriage first.  I love my son, but as you have all read numerous times in my blogs, being a single mom can really suck sometimes.

I think that I am going to try to get a babysitter this Friday.  I really want to go out and do something.  I need adult interaction!  Anybody got any ideas?  I'm pretty much game for anything.  Call me.

I found another long, lost friend on myspace!  Her name is Misty.  I haven't seen her since I left NC in 1990.  Don't you just love myspace?!?  I changed my song again.  I decided to go with my favorite Richard Marx song. 

Well, not much else to write about.  We're getting ready to go watch our church softball team lose another game.  At least it's their last game.  Later...

Why Isn't the Weekend Here, Yet?

I now understand those people who go crazy and enter their workplaces with a semi-automatic and only shoot certain people.  I cannot wait till I get to my new section.  Tuesday cannot get here fast enough!  If I have to hear anything about "end of the fiscal year" again, I may go completely insane!  Today was just an all aound sucky day at work. 

Michael missed his last day of school because he was sick.  He has strep.  Again.  The nurse was afraid that it might also be his appendix.  Wouldn't Scholastic love that?  "Hi, this is Beth.  I can't come in today because I am at the emergency room with my son.  He has appendicitis."  Their reply:  "How long do you think that you'll be at the hospital?  Do you think that you can make it in later in the day?"  Think I'm kidding?  Unfortunately, not.  I went home sick yesterday.  I didn't work overtime today.  I'm probably on the "naughty list".  Ask me if I really care....slightly.  I can't wait to leave EGOP.  I will miss some of the people.  I really like Anita, our supervisor.  Other people, nope, won't miss 'em at all.  Harsh, much?  Just a little.

Michael won't be going to baseball practice tonight.  That means that I won't get to take my walk down to the gardens and write.  Oh, well.  I love to go there and write.  I came up with a really good "ideal life" kinda thing the other day.  Here goes:

married to a Christian man

at least 2 kids

living either in the country, or outside the city with a large yard and a garden

dogs and cats (of course, I would still have my "mouser" Princess!)

a house

job as an Elementary Guidance Counselor

--I think that there was more, but that's all that I could remember off the top of my head. 

Well, I have to go to the store to buy popsicles, Gatorade, and other good sick kid stuff.  Later...
